ARTST-256 Printmaking I

This class is designed to give the beginning student an overview of basic printmaking techniques and an understanding of what a print is, its form in both unique and multiple formats, and how these function in our culture. Students will be exposed to the basic concepts of relief, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, monotype and computer applications for printmaking during the course with an in-depth, hands-on experience in intaglio and silkscreen.
